Today Michael Carter-Williams, the starting point guard of the Philadelphia 76ers has been named Rookie of the Year. The young phenomenon has averaged 16.7 points, 6.2 rebounds and 6.3 assists per game, and so he is just one of three rookies in NBA history to average at least 16 points, 6 rebounds and 6 assists. Guess who the other two are? Magic Johnson and Oscar Robertson… we’ll see if MCW is to achieve half those two did long time ago. Also, MCW has played for one of the worst teams in NBA history, so in order to demonstrate his greatness as a basketball player, he will need to make his team win.
